The rearranged second leg of the Copa Libertadores final will take place on either December 8 or 9 at a neutral venue.
River Plate and Boca Juniors had been set to face off at the Estadio Monumental on Saturday, following a 2-2 draw in the first leg at La Bombonera on November 11.
But the showpiece event - and the biggest ever game between the two great rivals - was cancelled after violence in Buenos Aires on Saturday, with the Boca team bus attacked on its way to the game.
Boca players Pablo Perez and Gonzalo Lamardo were both taken to hospital following the attack, which saw windows on the bus broken and tear gas used as Boca made their way to the Monumental.
The final was rescheduled for the following day, but was again postponed after a Boca appeal to the South American football federation CONMEBOL.
